Bio-ChelatTM works gently by indirectly intensifying the body's physiologic
elimination mechanism of heavy-metals, decreasing the uptake of heavy-metal ions in the blood stream and creating a
high electric-magnetic gradient in the gastrointestinal tract. This in turn pulls more heavy metal ions from the body
tissues into the blood stream and eliminates them through the urine and faeces (Law of Isotonicity).
Bio-ChelatTM works best for middle and long term therapy with chronic heavy-metal
toxicity and in preventing heavy metal toxicity from daily exposure.
Bio-ChelatTM is a patented chelator used for removal and elimination of heavy metal ions based
on polyaminopolycarbonic acid (DisodiumEDTA), its physiological digestible salts, including small amounts of an oxidative catalyser
(oxygen).
Bio-ChelatTM is not suitable for the care of acute mercury toxicity or very high new toxic ion loads.
It has its greatest value as a middle and long term therapy for sub-acute or chronic heavy metals toxicity.
Bio-ChelatTM works more gently and is easier to administer than most common chelators. During the
treatment, a significant decrease in the body's heavy metals ions can be seen. This is accomplished without disturbing the mineral
and trace element relationships. Unlike most other heavy metals detoxification, Bio-Chelat does not cause loss of essential
organic metals and minerals that is essential to health
The therapeutic goal of elimination of heavy metals ions cannot be achieved in a short period of time because they are either
deposited in or bound to the various organs in the body. Rapid chelation can cause considerable side-effects particularly with the
disturbance to the organic metals and minerals balance in the body. It is recommended that Bio-ChelatTM
be used over a period of 3 - 12 months program to slowly yet effectively eliminate heavy metals contamination in the body.
Using Bio-ChelatTM the equilibrium of mineral concentrations of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium,
and selenium ions are not disturbed. In clinical trials carried out, an insignificant decrease in the concentration of zinc and
leucocytes was seen as well as a minimal increase of serum levels of thromboytes and gammo-glutamyl-transfase (GGT). The resultant
values of lactate-dehydrogenase (LDH) and glutamate-oxala-acetate-transaminse (GOT) demonstrate that the liver and intestinal functions
were not affected when using Bio-ChelatTM in a 3 months study with 80 patients.
